Job Title
DESIGN ENGINEER
Experience
Approximately 2–3 Years
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant design experience in engineering/manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Technical Qualities Required
The candidate should preferably possess:
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles, machine design and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / other relevant CAD software.
- Ability to prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Ability to interpret and modify existing engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation, material selection and technical specifications.
- Understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly and inspection processes.
- Ability to select appropriate materials, components and standard hardware for engineering products.
- Knowledge of valves, pressure equipment, gas equipment, diving equipment or related engineering products will be an added advantage.
- Ability to identify design issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Understanding of manufacturing feasibility and cost-effective design.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and verify design requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and specifications will be preferred.
- Good technical documentation and drawing-control practices.
- Ability to coordinate technically with Production, Purchase, Quality and suppliers.
Approximate Job Requirements
- Experience in mechanical product design, engineering drawings and product development.
- Preparation and modification of 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Preparation of BOMs, technical specifications and design documentation.
- Coordination with Production, Purchase, Quality and other departments.
- Understanding customer requirements and converting them into practical engineering designs.
- Handling design changes, technical queries and drawing revisions.
- Supporting production during manufacturing and assembly.
- Providing technical clarification to internal departments and suppliers.
Project Experience – Preferred
- Experience in handling engineering/design projects from concept to final drawing and production.
- Ability to understand project requirements and prepare design concepts, drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Experience in coordinating with Production, Purchase, Quality and other departments during project execution.
- Ability to manage design modifications, technical queries and project-related documentation.
- Experience in engineering product development, customization or project-based manufacturing will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Diving Equipment, Gas Equipment, Pressure Equipment, Valves, Fabrication, Machining or similar engineering projects will have an added advantage.

PURCHASE EXECUTIVE
Experience
Approximately 2–3 Years
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant Purchase / Procurement experience in an engineering or manufacturing company will be preferred.
Technical Qualities Required
The candidate should preferably possess:
- Good understanding of engineering materials, mechanical components and industrial products.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications and technical requirements.
- Knowledge of raw materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and other engineering materials.
- Understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, casting, forging and other manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of standard engineering components, hardware, fasteners, valves, fittings, tools and consumables.
- Ability to identify technically suitable materials and components as per specifications.
- Ability to evaluate supplier quotations based on technical specifications as well as commercial terms.
- Understanding of material grades, sizes, dimensions and basic quality requirements.
- Ability to coordinate with Design, Production and Quality departments regarding technical purchase requirements.
- Knowledge of inspection requirements, test certificates and material certificates will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office and ERP / Purchase Management Software.
- Ability to maintain accurate Purchase Orders, quotation comparisons and procurement records.
Approximate Job Requirements
- Handling day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Sourcing engineering materials, components, machinery items, tools, hardware and production requirements.
- Identifying suitable suppliers and obtaining quotations.
- Comparing supplier quotations, specifications, prices, delivery schedules and commercial terms.
- Preparation and processing of Purchase Orders.
- Negotiating with suppliers for competitive rates and delivery schedules.
- Follow-up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordination with Stores, Production, Design, Quality and Accounts departments.
- Monitoring pending Purchase Orders and material deliveries.
- Developing and maintaining a reliable supplier/vendor network.
- Maintaining supplier records and procurement documentation.
